I'm from HK. Have you just moved to the US? Many computer and photographic products are slightly cheaper in the US than Hong Kong, especially when they provide rebates. Internet selling is rather common in the US...

hi~ so are you living in US now? Where do u live? This is my second year in US.

i know they have a lot of rebates, but even after the rebates, it's still more expensive than HK, at least the things that I want to buy are.

I'm looking for KM d5d and Nikon D50, most of the stores selling D50 kit around 600-750, +tax =650-800.. tax is what i don't want to pay ^^"
and i am also looking for sigma 18-125, but i haven't seen any yet..

I just had some unhappy experience buying instrument online, that's why I wonder if that 's a good idea..

also, do you know if i get second hand camera, is yahoo and e-bay reliable? what other choices do i have?

will drive down to Oregon for tax-free on expensive things.

有check呀.. 見到beach camera 賣d50 body $519 +1gb sd, no tax no shipping fee, 短時間內見到既one of the best。
但係見到return service 得3.1/10
●想請問一下, 佢話\"conditioin: Brand new, USA Warranty " , 但係佢冇講乜野warranty......
如果網上買既機遲下壞左, 有冇得換? 點換? 定係要送入廠整? 係美國送入廠麻煩嘛??

I would suggest you to buy it from the store which at least has 7.5 or above. As I know, some store sell DC/DSLR for cheap However, after you place the other a few days, they will call you and push you to buy battery or memory card for double price or much more than you should pay.
I am not DSLR user and I am not planning to buy it, so I can really suggest you where to buy. Just can give you some hints. And I find one in resonable price for you.
