小弟用 D50, 18-70mm + 50 f/1.8 + 70-300G + SB600 + 1G card x2 + 40G photo wallet
想請問有無係大會堂影過結婚相呀,有乜要留意, 可否巨體d講下部機要?set?

1) esp 係支燈?set, 要否加柔光罩, 打 bounce or and anything else? cos just bought the Flash 2 week ago, still duno how to use it yet)
2) 在會堂裡,光圈せ快門要?set, 如用18-70mm f/5.6 加埋支燈咁快門要几多呢?
3) WB 用Auto 準唔準
4) 除?18-70mm , 仲有冇須要帶其他鏡?

因小弟的家人沒打算請photographe, so i will be 係 當日的primary photographer, 請各位C兄幫一幫我, thx

If possible, ask a experienced man with you.

At indoor with flash : M Mode, max aperture, 1/60 sec. (depend on how stable holding your can), ISO 200, If background is too dark, use ISO 400 or higher. When shooting at 接 / 玩新 娘 , need 1/180 sec above to freeze people quick motion.

Flash can bounce if ceiling is not too high, but need + 1EV at flash, be carefull of WB when using bounce flash, bounce flash will absorb and mix some yellowish light from environment into photo, can use manual WB to adjust for correct color.

If bounce flash is not possible, use direct strike flash, can use flash WB, can add 柔光罩 but can't fire too far, because 柔光罩 will diminish much of fire power and take long time to recharge.

The most important thing you need is practice, stay at home take few hundred trial photo with flash, then you will know characteristic of your flash and DSLR, know when you need to + or - flash EV. And familize the hand feeling with external flash.

At the day of event, always check the DSLR is at correct setting (eg : ISO, WB, EV, shutter speed). Review each photo afterward and can allow you to adjust the setting for next shot. At least ask one more man to take spare photo, then you have more time to think and adjust. Good luck.

Remember to shoot in RAW file for post-processing of unsatisfactory photos that is very important for mixed lighting and contrasty environment inside and outside City Hall and banquet venue.

Read carefully the rundown of the wedding, ensure you know what procedures will be taken at what time.

Shooting stand still photos is not difficult. A good wedding album should be very descriptive, just like telling a story of the day. Search some wedding albums on web, which is easy to find, to see the actual artworks of other photographer to get more ideas.
