Hi ,

I have Nikon D70S , I try to take indoor photo with Flash , but it turned out too yellow . What is wrong and how to impove it ?

change the White balance, change it till you like it. i sure it can be fixed

There are 2 light sources of different color (color temperature)
Light from the flash is white (about 5,500K digree)
Indoor ambient light is yellow from light bulb (about 3,000K digree)
Candle light is yellow (about 2,700K digree)

The duration of flash light is shorter than 1/1000 second.

Slow shutter speed ie 1/30 second would take more ambient light and the photo would be more yellowish.

High shutter speed ie 1/500 second would take more light from the flash and the photo would be less yellowish.

Your camera can adjust to ONE kind of color temperature which is called White Balance. Without flash adjusting white balance to 3,000K, the photo under light bulb is adjusted to white instead of yellowish by the camera.

Under 2 light sources you have to choose which one should dominate the exposure.
