no if u want 1:1 macro

yes if u "diopter lens" (magnifying glass) in front of your kit lens

OR

yes if u reverse mount your lens (or just use your hand to hold the lens) on your camera ====> unmount your lens, let the front end (with filter) point to the camera body, hand held steadly, take photo
