The D200 is really in a different class to the 30D. 30D is really just a 20D with a bigger screen, whereas the D200 is often compared to the D2X.

You have some good lenses there, the 35-70 2.8D is easily a match optically to the 28-70 AFS and is far superior to the 17-85 IS with the canon kit. But you may want a 18-35 or 17-35 to cover the missing range. Or even better, the 12-24 DX to do the job.
