Canon 400D is made in Japan
Nikon D80, even D200 are madeThailand
I didn't know that before.
i kind of feel that if i need to pay "Japan" price to get a Thailand product, it's not quite worth....Moreover, comments for D80 is getting worse... Especially on the the out focus problem. I feel like it could be quality control problem. I have this feeling because I work in a China factory.....
Btw, can any C hing tell me where 400D kit lens is made?

I was thinking about to get D80 because the spec is a bit better than 400D. However, i am thinking to get 400d lately because of the price and where it is made.

I am not trying to offense...just wanna tell you what I think

Btw, that's what I heard so far

Not mention Pros here, just Cons for both models

400D
Battery is getting low very fast, easy to "hand 機" when it's out of battery

D80
1) Few users complaint that their new D80 are alittle bit "Out focus". need to send to CS for fine tune
2) Sharpness of image is worse than D70, D50 and 400D

400D problem can solve via firmware upgrade later.
But if next log of 400D not made in Japan,any comment????????????

oh...do they usually do that? i thought they would only transfer the assembly from one place to another place instead of setting up two assembly lines. anyway, my heart is going to Canon's side because of money if i can get kit sets for $6100...compare to $9xxx. Cuz i wanna get a DV too...

我想out 唔out foc 唔關made in 邊度, 小弟而家用的d70 made in 泰國, 用左兩年一路沒有out foc 的問題發生, 反而之前用 c記 300d 及 350d made in 日本就out foc 嚴重, 所以放左
