According to Canon G7's time schedule, August 2007 may have a new S-series, together with new DSLR xxD.

Expected S90 = S80 + IS lens + DigicIII + SR coating len (same as G7)

Thanks 'cpkwong' information. My comment is based on recent DC as G-series and S-series releasel almost same time.

G6 & S70 (7M 1/1.8" CCD, RAW)
G5 & S50 (5M 1/1.8" CCD, RAW)
G3 & S45 (4M 1/1.8" CCD, RAW)
G2 & S40 (4M 1/1.8" CCD, RAW) (extract from internet)

Of course, there are some unique function that G-series had like F2.0, hot shoe, plenty of accessories, etc.

So I'll bit disappointing that Canon remove RAW from G7 & S80 and 'remove' them from prosumer DC.

P.S. By the way, I read from interent that the earliest Canon S-series S10 & S20 had no RAW photos output while earliest G-series G1 & G2 had RAW output.
