i have the 17-85 before with a 350d
i feel that this is good enough for is system that time
normally is ok but when wide the dark conner will very serious

this is the dead point of the dark conner also the refration of 眩光 control is not good enough becasue this is a normal lens not inlude any low refration controll lens like ed or L so the 眩光 in a BIG VIEW OR LIGHT TIME IS SERIOUS ANY WAY THIS LENS IS NOT TOO BAD WITH IS SYSTEM

ABOUT THE TAMRON 17-50 F2.8

FIRST F2.8 APERTURE IS BIG ENOUGH FOR PORTRAIT
AND WHEN WIDE 17 THE DARK CONNER ARE NOT SO SERIOUS LIKE CANON 17~85 IS
ALSO THE MOST IMPORTANT IS THIS LENS COME WITH A VERY GOOD LOW REFRATION CONTROL LENS SP LENS IT MAKE THE CONTRACT IS VERY WELL AND SHARP

ALSO THE PRICE ARE FAR AWAY CHEAP THAN THE CANON ONE
I M VERY DIFFICULT TO FIND THIS LENS BUT I GET IS WATER GOODS


ABOUT SIGMA I JUST USE THE 24~70 F2.8 THE LENS ISOK BUT ABOUT THE CONTRACT I FIND TAMRON SP LENS IS BETTER

i also have some L lens of cos it is better than tamron and many brand but in the cheap way tamron 17~50 f2.8 very very good item
