Dear big brothers,

I wonder can we use a Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8 L IS USM on a Nikon D80? If yes, what extra part do we need? Will it function properly?

可加轉mount,但沒有了測光及自動對焦.

As I know, Canon EF lens cannot be used on Nikon body. Nikon lens used on Canon body is OK.

Nikon F ---> Canon EF 有
Canon EF ---> Nikon F 冇

Even if you custom made an adpater to fit a EF lens on a Nikon body, your 70-200L cannot autofocus, adjust aperture, focus to infinity, and IS goes out the window as well.

In short, there is absolutely no point doing that. This is also why you won't find a EF-F mount adapter in store.

其實主因係 EF Mount 口徑比 F Mount 大，EF Lens 係放唔入 Nikon 機
