I just ask Broadway & Wing Ming last night that they said they will not sell F100 anymore , as it's already stop the proudction. & they both recommend F300 instead. But I still found F100 from Fortress - Tsing Yi. But my question is since a lot of people found the dead fix from the F100 , sometime may need to change after they bought. But if the F100 already stop their proudction , if I bought F100 now , in case it have the dead fix can they have enough good working camera to change?

Yes yes F100 have already stop production but if you buy now it's not too late ! Of course Sales promote F300 have it have better performance ! But remember that you have to pay almost $1000 more ! I agree that F100's QC is not really good and many people find dead pixels or hot pixels on their F100 ! But once you get a DC without these problem, then it should be OK ! So it's up to you ! I use the F100 about a month, I change twice after I bought it, now I am using the third one and this one works fine !

buy F300 ! It's the best of compact size DC. better than all Canon, Nikon, Fujifilm...

I bought F100 in Broadway two weeks ago . i forgot to check the viewfinder and discovered that there was a problem in the viewfinder soon after i bought it. i wanna change a new one but the staff there said that there was no stock at that moment and they would notify me when there was stock (probably after a week). by now i still have not got any call from the staff and i knew that the production of F100 is stopped (how come? it's quite new). i will call the staff tmr. but what do u think their treatment normally if they really don't have the stock?

Hey guys, i have questions about all these problem that F100 has.
Like those dead pixels or hot pixels and those viewfinder problem, I don't really know how to find out if i got those problems too, can either gapman or dahl please tell me how to find out if my F100 has problem or not?

You have to take a black photo, then see the photo on LCD ! If you find any bright point on LCD, then the LCD have dead pixels ! But for hot pixels, you have to use the software to check it out and you have to do it after you upload the photos to the computer !
