[Space Walker]

Just sold almost all prime lens on hand and now is looking for a standard zoom. Zoom lens is really much convenient. Nikkor 17-55 is my goal but not now. Some preference below and hope C Hings can give some comments on these for reference to choose.

Nikkor 18-70
Nikkor 18-135
Sigma 18-50 f/2.8 macro (new)
Tamron A16 (booked but still waiting too long, want to quit.......)

Space Walker,

I have tried 18-135 in Man Shing. Not so good as I expect since it didn't have VR and it is easy blur when shooting at 135mm. If I were you, I prefer 18-70, Have not try Sigma, so no comment.
