Search for 'Avast' it is a very good anti-virus software and it is free if you use personal addition.

Install it and run a complete scan it can check a lot of virus, spyware etc., I was infected (with Norton installed at that time) and Norton can't do anything.

Try this one I think it will work and by the way it will update the virus database automatically and usually few days a time, it will notify you when it is updated.(Of course if you select auto update).
