so, all experts,

I'm also new learner and plan to buy new dslr for baby and travel, prefer all in one in reasonable effort. I'm trying to balance convenience and pic quality factors. I understand that if I need convenience (single len 18-200 VR), I'll lose the pic quality and vice versa.

Since I plan to buy D80 but I cannot decide on day 1 whether
(1) D80 Kit ($8K) - less $
or
(2) D80 body + 18-200VR ($12K) - more convenience for all purpose with VR

in the future when I've been move adance,
(1) D80 Kit + 70-300VR ($8+4=12K) - need to change len for long & wide shot
or
(2) D80 body + 18-200VR (same as day 1)

the diff is you need to pay $12K on day 1 or day 2.

Please help.
