I have problem of transferring raw images from my camera to Pentax Photo Brower in my computer regardless using Pentax's USB cord or card reader. Strange enough is that only jpeg images could be transferred.

I took the K10D to Jebsen and was told that the camera and the Pentax software disc were in perfect condition. I tried more than 3 different memory cards but results were the same -- I could only tranfer jpeg images. Anyone could help or advise me why?

It is not a camera problem. In fact, it is a computer issue. When one wants to transfer images, whether they be jpeg or raw, one generally uses a USB cord connecting the camera and the computer. A faster way would be using a card reader. But by using both means, I did not have the raw images at all. I am a computer idiot, and I tried to play with my camera and computer for around 10 days without success. Finally, a pal in a forum told me to establish an independent file at first place and then copy it to the photo brower. Wow, it solved all my worries, especailly I was a bit afraid that there would be some hidden defects in my camera. You can visit www. dpreview.com and enter the pentax slr talk in the forum section.
