This lens is now available in HK (hong good around 4500, water good around 3800). Has anyone had any hands on experience with it? If so:

1. How does it compare with the non-OS version in terms of image quality and focus speed?

2. Also, do you think it is worth paying an extra $700 for hong good? Is the warranty offered for water good by Tin Chxxxx good enough?

If I were a Nikon user, I will most likely pay $1000 more for the Nikkor lens. But I use Canon, so this is the only wide-zoom lens with IS in the market ...

如果支Sigma鏡 做得好過原廠,就值得買.

There is not much information regarding the ability of the OS ie. how many f-stop it can provide from safety shutter speed.

I think two factors will determine whether this is worth or not,

1) the image quality,

2) the ability of the OS.
