眾師兄，本人終於下定決心上DSLR啦。

錢係一個問題，所以想問其實而家應唔應該買呢？

以你地睇，N記會唔會好快出新機呢？

D-100出左三年之後就出D-200，而D-200已經出左年幾啦。

會唔會好快有D-300呢？

大家幫吓手俾意見啦。我好驚買左兩個月之後話出新機... 雖然D-200夠用有突...

When D200 is new, it needed 14K, now just 10K already reflects the value of its 1.5 year old.

We can't guess when D300 come, like before no one expected D40x follow so soon with D40

if I were you, I would consider whether D200 / 80 color style, noise control, body built fitting my need.

其實我無諗過其他機啊，D-80 用過但係唔鍾意。而且想買一部高階少少既DSLR，因為我唔係成日換機既。

所以而家考慮既係一係買D-200，一係唔買囉。

So you are one of the die-hard Nikonites. If you have not owned a DSLR before, seems to me you are free from a so-called lens stock problem. There are quite a few DSLRs worth considering in addition to D200, especially when you are worry that the latter may be replaced within a short time. But as you said, you will either take D200 or give up DSLR, then

Thanks Steve. As I am a F-65 user, my lens can still be used on my future D-200, which is good in a way that I can save some money on buying new lens.

You mentioned that there are a couple good DSLRs besides D-200, what's your recommendation? However, it would be better to stick with Nikon as I am one of the Nikon supporters!!

To tell the truth, I like to take portraits more than the sceneries. From what I have seen, Canon cameras do a better job on the portrait category. Somehow, I still prefer Nikon, maybe for its price...

Hi Azuki,
Good you have bought what you'd wanted. I have been using Nikon cameras for more than 25 years. All of them are for 35mm films. My first Nikon was FM, then Fm2, then F90x and F100. You would be somewhat surprised I chose Pentax K10D for my digital DSLR. Do not want to compare which model be better than the other. The only thing I want to say is that K10D has never disappointed me since I input it this past March. Why I picked up Pentax? The only reason was I got tired of being buzzed with Nikon and Canon all around, as if there jadn't these two brands, there were no digital photography.

Yo Steve. To tell the truth, I still love my F-65 although it's a low ended SLR, and it was a present from my dad. D-200 will be just a tool for me to practice more on photography, and fully utilize my F-65.
