M8 is my (as well as others') dream rangefinder. In fact, I've read thru the cited review yesterday, and I like it in the sense that M8's limitation makes the user to shoot in a way different and new from DSLR/SLR which sometimes is more creative in terms of composition and experience. M8 is built like a tank. But my main concern = weather proof??

M8 is good, but 5D isn't bad, I won't buy a M8 at this price level, I won't be a master with a M8 anyway.

I'll only consider it at a price under US$3,500.
