Some cameras have fastest shutter speed of 1/2000 or 1/4000, do we really need that fast? or 1/000 is already good enough?

冇哂電... 淨番 全機械 快門 1/500 sec 都掂.

長開快門... 靠拉黑咭都得.... 拉快d 咪去到 1/8000 sec.

If hand holding 500, 600mm lens, need 1/2000 sec

本人絕無陰兩位的意思，只不過寫漏咗咁解，事緣本人睇中Kodak隻Z812IS有HD Movie, 但快門個range就只係1/2” – 1/1000”，所以問吓各位c-hing意見，點解Kodak的機咁鷄，1/2”點拍夜景，1/1000”點拍快相呢？

可能 kodak Z812IS noise control 好...
谷住用 iso3200 啦... 1/2 sec 等於 8 秒到.

亦可能 sensor 吾受得 長開快門... 所以得 1/2 sec.

It really depends on your own needs. Other people cannot answer for you. HIgher speed would be used in some situations. Not sure you need that.
