When u zoom to most tele (8x optical), is it easy to get a blur picture due to shaking (holding the camera by hand)?? Or when u zoom to 8x, a tripod is really needed to take a sharp picture? thanx for ur advice.

It is based on the shutter speed. To prevent it, set higher shutter speed is necessary. When shooting at night, use with tripod.

No such problem for me.

shaking is due to slow shutter speed. The standard is different for different ppl.
There is a general formula. If U zoom to 30mm, the "safe speed" is 1/30s (i.e. slower than 1/30s may get blur picture easily).
Since 5700 can zoom to 280mm, it seems the shutter speed can't be slower than 1/280s without using tripod. But I think most people can do better than that.

以我咁喳，我曾用5700的8x來特登試下?唔?得定，袛要用到8x時企定定，專心集中精神，都唔會手震。(當然快門唔係太慢啦，我唔記得了，但又唔係用特別快的快門，普通啦)
但我曾用QV2900的8x，點都唔可以唔手震

Nikon's ones are 680mAh while I see GP's compatible battery rated at 720mAh. Don't know if it can really lasts longer but the price is attractive (nikon $270, GP $220).

Damn it, last time when I asked about compatible batteries at DCC wan chai the sales handed me this, I asked him whether it is of higher rating than nikon, the sales told me not and saying "they don't sell any batteries exceeds original rating as such items may cause damage to ur camera"...

1.影直度非常好?(渣)手.
2.用AA電好襟.真係影成日都夠有餘.
3.機身雖然重左但反而會對手震有幫助.

I am considering this.
The grip itself is affordable for me. But extra cost of 12 AA batteries (1 extra set for spare) and a 6 or 8 slot battery recharger can cost me another $700, makes the whole kit quite expensive.

我就比較偏向買多兩舊電, 計埋跟機果舊, 即係3舊, 使用時間應該可以足夠影足成日, 而且價錢都係$280蚊o者

而如果買直度....
好似trent 兄講....$1500左右, 就算唔要多一set 電池同6 slots charger, 都要$1250左右, 都幾大投資架

而且如果用左直度, 我o係百記買既果個50蚊相袋又唔用得, 買另外大d既袋個又係要錢. 而我揀5700其中一個原因, 都係貪佢又細又輕, 用左直度就失左自己原來既意思.

不過唔知外面d AA charger 係咪unversal voltage 既呢? 唔係既話去旅行時又要洗錢買個變壓, 仲要拎多舊野, 本來個6 slots charger已經夠哂大.....

不過我知道有好多人鐘意加左直度個樣, 同埋影直度樣時方便既 ^^
