want to buy Canon V3, but know that only got 2x optical zoom, is ithere really a high difference between 3x & 2x? or should I wait for the IXUS 400? I need to go to travel soon, so want to make a decision urgently............ please help....... thanks!

Not only the difference between 2X and 3X optical zoom, but also with different size of CCD. V3 uses 1/2.7" CCD while 400 uses 1/1.8" CCD.
The picture quality of 400 such be better than V3 in theory.
