I just brought this.
I love those features:
1.AI mode: The camera will automatically change to the suitable mode, landscape, portray, sports, ever the marco mode... , and adjust the ISO flashlight ,...etc accordingly . Therefore, you will definitely have a sharp picture and not miss any moment.
2. Burse scene. 5 pictures per second (2.5meg). For shooting running kids, vehicles, animals.
3. You can control the automatic ISO highest limit to 400, 800 or higher.
4. Tons of scene to choose.
5. A/S/M control
6. 3 more quick button mode Landscape, Sports, Portray.
Those have diff automatic sub chooses+ one more user Aor S control
7. You can zoom up to 8.9x if you set picture size to 3M, 5.9x if 7M, 7.1X if 5M (they are not digital zoom)

Those pictures quality are very good. Those buttons are well located. control and snappy and logic, fast response.
Focus is fast and above those others in this class although not as fast as canon A720 especially indoor and low light environment.

With this camera, you could do more with the A/S/M control on one hand.
and a kid-can-control shooting on the other.

I try Fuji F100FD, Canon A720, A590, LX100 ,Nikon S100, Kodak, Sony, ....even Panasonic TZ5 (10x). LZ10 is a good balance and a fun camera
