want to buy a serious tripod, as I shoot night photos/ long exposure/ IR a lot and all need a tripod...
And i find the silk tripod I am using since LX2 are not doing well enough for a DSLR
so, want to know will it be too extravagance for me to spend $1800 on a tripod?
the reason could be there is a cheaper tripod that can provide similar function, etc...
And is the price ok?
I have googled and the price seems attractive....

I don't like Benro's button which adjust the angle
Manfrotto one seems much easier to do in one hand....
and went to SSP Ying Kee, and the Benro shop next to MTR exist saw, not much good model on sale seems
but I don't see a single manfrotto selling so can't compare directly...

E420, 1454 only.....
will probably add a Macro lens or wide angle, won't consider any zoom lenses......

OM ain't doing very well on high ISO compare to Nikon.....plus I do long exposure/ HDR as well, so can't use monopod...
