我是新手, 剛剛買了部Optio S. 想買張sd card. 市面上見到的有 Toshiba, Panasonic, SanDisk. 其價錢都有些相差, 質素有何不同?

老闆對我說其實沒甚分別, 最後我選擇SanDisk 256MB, $600. 其他牌子沒有256MB, 他說.

用落又OK, 我未用過其他, 其實有沒有分別的?

I am new to DC. Thus I can't provide any professional opinion to comment the quality of Optio S. However, I bought it for convenience' sake, since I want to bring a DC everyday. Size and weight are the chief considerations to me, so I chose Optio S. It seems nothing when you put it into pocket. It's perfect to me!
Anyway, the overall quality should be exceeding my all expectations. Also, it allows to zoom when recording movie that I never expect. My friends said it should be better than Casio EX-Z3 because of the brand name of Pentax.

其實我反而鍾意Casio EX-Z3 多o的，大家鏡頭一樣，但 EX-Z3 有2" LCD，遲o的又有炭灰色，型好多，但 Optio S 我覺得線條太簡單，好似成部 Web Cam 咁。

至於brand name of Pentax，無錯 Pentax 係出相機、鏡頭，但唔好睇小Casio，佢 九六、九七年已經出 DC，Pentax 都係近呢一、兩年先正式起步。

最後 SD card，其實最大分別應該係速度，以 Panasonic 為例，佢 128Mb 以下係 2Mbit/s，但一上到256Mb或以上，速度係 10Mbit/s，快好多，Sandisk 應該做唔到呢個速度，所以平o的。

i bought a pentax optio s too :-)
and i want to ask some questions, thanks.

a. how to record sound? when i press the power switch for more than 2 seconds, then it will switch off, because of i am using the internal memory, so i cannot record sound?

b. i took some pictures by internal memory, how can i take the pictures out?

I am glad to hear you bought the Optio S also. How much you bought it?

Regarding to your questions:
a. I think you're right. Since the internal memory is just only 12MB, and you had already taken some pictures inside, so it is not enough memory for recording sound. Please insert a memory card to check it again.

b. It's also my question. After I connect the USB cable to PC, I can't find any pictures from internal memory inside, just only from SD card. My stupid solution is, convert the pictures from internal memory to SD card, and then take them via PC.
