The picture taken with mju300 is not as sharp as my other Olympus C2020. Again, one must sacrifice a bit of quality if he/she is opting for smaller size of camera.

Using the zoom with mju300 has noise. Again, I believe it is the problem of building camera too small. However, mju300 noise level is low compare with another camera of mine the Fuji 50i which only has digital zoom. The noise with Fuji 50i is not acceptable at all but I can accept the noise with mju300. If I compare C2020 with mju300 I would say that C2020 is a lot better than mju in terms of noise control. However, C2020 is also a lot bigger in size.

Battery life with mju300 is long, I have taken around 200 pictures with one full charge but no camera flash used.

Panorama function of mju300 is quite acceptable and convenient. But best to do it with a tripod.

XD card is a lot of improvement over SM. SM occasionally has contacting problem but XD has solved it.

I feel that mju is good for not the very serious people. If they want absolute quality they should look elsewhere. However, mju is good for party animal who just want a small size camera to fit into their pocket, one that carries around and never miss any interesting moment in life and to have them captured on photos.

Underwater housing is available in Japan for mju (you can order from shops in HK). The housing is small so it can easily fit into BCD (divers would understand this term).
I also have an UW housing for C2020 (PT005 I think!), but it is too large.
