在外國的forum看到 "CCD Defects Reader" 小程式, 非常值得向 Coolpix Fans 推介, 比我們常用的 "DeadPixelTest" 更強。CCD Defects Reader不但能直接閱讀相機序號和韌體版本, 在測試完畢之後還有remap功能。

My 885 had a disgusting green dot on the CCD. After using the "remap hot pixels" function of the program (to be frank I do not know what is remap in detail), the green dot disappeared.

Thank you very much oldpear for introducing such a useful program.

Desperado, did U mean that there was a dead pixel (green dot) on the CCD, and after U had used the remap function, it disappeared?

這個程式強悍的地方就是remap, 我在鬼佬forum看過很多人說用久了的DC有幾個死點都算好正常, 反正保養期已過, 自行remap總好過有點死點篤眼篤鼻, 但我兩部nikon DC都沒有死點, 所以未試過, 但已經有fans 證實佢係work既。

所謂remap, 即係廢左粒死點武功, 並借來該點四週相近的顏色補充, 使相片不會有突兀感。至於熱點, 我兩部DC的測試都有幾點, 如果用長時間曝光(8"), 用DeadPixelTest試竟有幾百點, 據說仍屬正常, 全無熱點或極少熱點只有DSLR才能做得到。
