Hi Chings,

After I recorded something, it is saved as mts file. When I pause and record again, it is saved as another mts file.

How can I merge all of these mts files so that I can watch the whole video without pause?

are you sure you "pause", not "stop"?

all camcorders are the same, whether u pause or stop.

use a video editor (does canon provides one?) to create a "non-stop" video.

Oh, I think I stop. But is there any way to combine the files into 1, so that I don't have to watch those files 1 by 1 at the computer?

i bet u used a camcorder with video tape prior to this one.

the tape one no longer works, so bought this new one few months ago.

if u canon doesn't come with a video editor, u can get Corel VideoStudio Pro X3 in less than HK$500 to make a DVD or BD, it quite easy to use.

just an advice, check whether it supports MTS files before buying.

if you don't demand super high quality, Windows Movie Maker should suit your need already

all you need is to find some free video converter that can convert MTS to WMV or AVI

ask in some Canon forum and sure some guys that has experience can light you up
