If you want some professional uses -- G3

Also, the design and construction of G3 is better as G3 is semi-professional class of Canon.

Because the price difference of both are very close, so, I prefer to buy G3.

Thanks for Gumgum's comments. I have tried G3 and S50 yesterday, but I can't make decision, because S50 so easy to handle and convenience, then the G3 good for long term, but the focus very slow.

Would you tell me this problem can be solve by setting, thanks a lot.

Yes, focus speed of G3 is slow but acceptable. Sometimes, I think that focus speed is not so important. Important thing is the photo quality. Also, if the focus speed is fast but not so accurated. It is also no use.

Now, I use F707, it's focus speed is faster than G3, but I still miss the quality of G3 (I used G3 before)

Remember, many DC can not focus in a dark place, if you always take photo at night time, you have to think about it.

Sorry for late to reply you that I bought from DC World at Mongkok and the price is $4280 with 32M & 64M CF card.

I would like to inform you that my DC(black version) is last one at that moment, you may check with DC world.
