YOu are comparing three different class DC ! F717 is for professional use. S50 is for pre-consumer whille P10 is for someone who want automatic DC !

S50 give you point and shoot plus manual control
F717 gives you point and shoot + manual control + semi-professional features and quality.

If price and size is not your concern , F717 is your choice because :
1. Macro at 0.8 inch
2. The Carl Zeizz give superb image quality.
3. The nick name of F717 is 'Dark Angel" which can take pic even in total darkness. With laser beam and F2.4 at 190mm it is good in dim lighting.
