Hi, I have some problem when I taking pictures with my Cannon A70... when I switch to manual mode... the picture that I took is kind of blue... but after I switch back to auto, it does not have the same problem with that... I am just a beginner photographer... is anyone that can help.. (I think there is some options that I need to set with my camera).. thankx

You may have accidentally set another white balance (eg tungsten which should be used when taking pictures indoor with tungsten light bulb).

Change the White Balance (eg to Auto White Balance) and try again. See whether there is any difference.

I have one more problem... I have already got a tripod for my camera but when I shoot some night scenes, the camera still shake a bit ( a light source with a little tail)... However, after I set the self-timer to 2 sec. it is ok... but I think there should be another solution for that...

Nornally, another solution is to use a Remote Control.
However, as I read from A70 specification, it does not support remote control.....so.....

Consider these:
- get a better Tripod that does not shake (and place on a stable place)
- hold the camera tight while pressing the shuttle and not to allow any shaking when pressing
- (stupid way) use black card -- put a black card in front ot fhe len while pressing the shutter, and after the shutter is pressed and the camera is not shaking any tiny bit, remove the black card immediately. In this case, you have to correspondingly adjust to longer shutter speed (to negative the effect of putting the black card in front of camear). Haha.
