June 3rd, Konica is announcing a new camera. They put out two samples on their website, they look really amazing.

3xFoveon is a breakthrough, but it is not everything, requires hard/soft wares and good management to support!!

you totally miss the point of my post.
i dont care if it is a foveon or not.
look at the samples.
look at the amount of details and lack of noise in these shots.
and i am one who owns a 1Ds. i am used to details, but details from a point and shoot like this is very very impressive.

X3 technology is amazing, its going to be a big hit if its something other than Sigma.

looks like konica is making up a digital Hexar.
