I trade-in my old model S75 into V1

White balanced has been improved. I liked the build-in lens cover, support external TTL fash and 4x optical zoom.

I used Sony because it is friendly user and elegant.

But if you want to learn more in taking photographs, I think you're better to consider a coming model - Nikon Coolpix 5400. Honestly, it is a good DC at this moment.

影過之後,真係同F717真係有得揮,畫面又靚,又幼細,幾滿意.
記住一定要買番過閃燈,唔係要用時都幾後悔.

For comparison of past consumer grade DC between Nikon &Canon, The power of controlling noise of Canon is much better than that of Nikon. And also, G5 has large aperature than Nikon. In weak light, you will find how importance of large aperature.

ED lenses have much improvement in the tele lenses for gathering different wavelight of light(i.e. longer than 150mm). For 28~116mm, no use!. The purpose of Nikon use ED lenses want to attract the consumer to buy its product for someone dis-understanding the purpose of ED lenses.

However, for DCSLR, D100 are much better than 10D or D60. You can find the comparsion in many Japanese or Western magazine.
