Most of the AV shop at Mongkok have underwater housing of 5050, price around $1500.

都幾擔心......

你咁怕就唔好用啦, 又相落水影, 咪要下水時買一部水中相機羅, 好似一百元內, 你都唔係成日落水啦~~~

帶部機入水就一定有風險, 你可以找個保險agent 來看看有沒有這方面的保險買.

潛水最好用番潛水用菲林機，原因如下：
(1) 較平，潛水好容易入水或整壞野，亦容易遺失
(2) ISO最好用400度以上，菲林質素會較好
(3) DC操作時會發熱，容易起霞氣

Actually, film underwater camera is more expensive than digital camera with housing, except sea and sea MX-5.
For example, Nikonos-V + lens + flash, just underwater flash light price almost enough to buy a 5050 digital camera, and you need to buy a wide angle len and a macro len , and they can't enchange under the water. Than mean you can't taken macro photo and wide angle photo in one dive. And the limitation of film camera only taken 36 photos at one dive, can't exchange film in water.
But digital camera can taken more photos in water, delete photo while you aren't satify the photo, can taken macro and wide angle photo at one dive.
About the water resistance problem , i bring my underwater housing of Sony P-5 under 160 feets still ok, just seem you test it before dive, add silicone grease before each dive and how to maintance.
I have a sea and sea motormarine II file underwater camera and MX-5, but i've seldom to use them after i use Sony P-5.

係喎, 你係講潛水, (好深那些) 還是 去旅行那些淺水湖區??

一般的防水箱好似得 3m 有效...... 還有, 如果係用完即棄式的落水菲林機唔算好貴.... (落得水都唔會太窮...)

DIVER,
我講的就是sea & sea，港制vivtar都有，當然唔係講slr+lens+housing。潛水超過器材指定使用深度而無入水只可說是好彩，唔保証唔入水，尤其是在超果水深限制時按制操作，如果入水就唔見幾千$$$$啦﹗
個人同意film是有數目限制，但一般潛水在水中停留亦有時間限制，視乎深度，36張(可多偷兩張)都應該夠用，而dc本身亦有電池限制問題，最重要還是高iso問題﹗重有發熱容易起霞問題。Happy diving and shooting!
