They are warm filters. The effect of A is lighter than B and than C. The purpose is to change the colour temperature of the photo.I like to add such filter for taking landscape to reduce the greendish tone, which may caused by bad weather.

Baiscally, there is no need to use such optical filters for digital photography because we can now change the colour tone by digital technology.
