This topic is somehow "ON LUN GOU"!!!!! from any point of the review in dpreview, the V1 was beat up by 5400 and G5!!!!! Dil their Lo Mo Dpreview la!!!! Poke guy they said S85 is highly recommended, and image quality is 9/10. Dil La Sing Noise is like hell!!!! bunch of BS says the S85 is fanastic, yeahhhh FANTASTIC SUCK!!!! I then bought a C5050 that they said not really recommend, it was hella good but just some noise that bother me! But overall, and I saw the spec on the color, the C5050 is almost the best, but since it doesn't have 50 ISO, so the out come might be worse than G5 or 5400, but.......... G5 and 5400 are way better than V1, the junk! And here is my opinion with no offense, 5400 is the best in their competition between G5, 5400, and V1, (just personal opinion, no professional, please don't yell!) So I guess all Sony V1 user will f*ck me up, but I actually like Sony, but not V1. I think many people would agree with me.

不論是什麼立場，是recommend也好，highly recommend也好，都是一個recommendation(建議), 無人迫你一定要跟，亦不能說人誤導，佢只是講意見吧！

我都有參考過其資料才買機，看看事實數據，看看用家意見。其他用家的喜惡不等如自己的喜惡，但也有參考價值。

最重要是獨立思考，用腦。

我覺得dpreview作者也不是偏幫的.
外國價錢V1真的平很多呢
如以同類形計,canon同nikon都有好多其他選擇
sony同級機就只有F717,所以評高分少少也不出奇

Dear all. keep calm, everyone has their own favor. I using cp5700, but I love 717 also, I selected 5700 becaused the size of 717 is bigger than 5700. I believed sony is producing good camera, all of the camera manufacturers have their goodness.

V1 係一部好機, 以4580 這個價真係幾抵, 佢o既賣點係細同輕, 但係prosumer級 個lcd 吾轉得好似差o左d

g5 要買53xx 佢個view finder 受阻礙and 對焦慢
5400 要5千尾, 最衰冇af assist lamp

after reading the reviews from dpreview, i agree the v1 is highly recommend since:

1. lower noise then 5400 and g5

2. size is smaller then other 2 but picture quality are closely in these 3 dc.

3. price is cheaper then other 2.

4. fast focusing( i think it should be accurate?!) and night framming and real time histogram are more important then 28mm lens or f2.0-f3.0 aperture or ED lens(i can't find this is an advantage on the posted samples).

my opinions only, hope you will not f*ck me -_-'

fast focusing and real time histogram 我都覺得真係好緊要.
呢兩個都係主要既原因令到我買完717又買v1, 哈哈.

i also agrees with S50 因為真係有好多好多機都highly recommended 架啦.

"Highly recommended" is based on the "Value for money =9" . It is Mr. Askey's personal opinion only not based on the objective total score..

In the review the V1 got lowest scores from the sum of all other area.

In HK the water goods lowest price is HKD4280.- thus in my humble opinion V1 is also "Highly recommended"

Keep HK clean, no dirty words please.
