I want to buy a Canon SLR, please advise which body model and lens are better for a beginner. And how much is it?

How about EOS300? Is it OK?

Body 選 ：
EOS-33 or EOS-30 會好好多，$2600~$3000
Lens 選 ：
EF24-85mm f/3.5-4.5 USM，$1xxx (wide至中段)
EF50mm f/1.8 II，$600 (人像鏡)
EF80-200mm f/4.5-5.6 II，$1xxx(遠攝鏡)
上述選擇供初學者用經濟又實用。

如要upgrade，
Body就可以保留。
Lens 可選：
EF24-70mm f/2.8L USM，$9800 (wide至中段)
EF100mm f/2.8 Marco USM，$3500 (Marco & 人像鏡)
EF70-200mm f/2.8L USM，$13000 (遠攝鏡)
這三支鏡頭雖然好貴，但質數極高，作長線投資，用上十多年，係值得的。

btw, 想清楚點解要用film 機. film 機係咪比到 DC / D-SLR 比唔到既野你.
film, 印相, film scanner... 加埋加埋係好甘的.

先多謝大家寶貴意見, 其實我都諗緊菲林機是否合適, 但菲林機拍出來的真的很有質感, 連DSLR都做唔到, 況且, DSLR 貴過菲林機很多, 就算現時千四萬像也不及菲林微粒咁多, 不過DC始終方便, 另一方面, 我諗住去旅行時多部菲林機穩陣D, 因為我大佬上個月去外國時, 回港前燒了張CF咭(是大廠出品,費事講牌子), 結果乜都冇晒, 但菲林就冇乜走雞, 所以咪想買部平平地的eos300囉, 但軍佬大哥話 EOS30/33 好, 所以未知點搞, 在網上有仁兄賣緊部有保養的 EOS300 KIT + 28-90mm lens + tumax flash + bp200 = $1550
買唔買得過呢? 請指教.

個body 都係一次過買好少少, 因為body 會用好耐.

鏡我會買支 28-135 usm is. 個光圈雖然細d, 但係個range 好好用, 又唔係咁貴. 去旅行好正. (只係500幾個 g)

有錢再買支 17-40, 咁就好多景都影到啦~~~

比我遠攝鏡會買定焦.

ps: 有消息指canon 好似想學 o 記咁, 出個個全新的system 來特發展數碼喎, 有冇大佬都聽過這消息

er... EOS 30 or 33 la
28-135mm IS f3.5-5.6 is a good lense... i think $2xxx to $3xxx la
28-105mm f3.5-4.5 is a good lense as well...
24-85mm f3.5-4.5 is good if you need the 24mm(if you like to take pics of buildings, this is the way to go)
70-300mm IS f4-5.6 is not good wor, according to a few reviews
17-40mm f4 seems to be good
i don't know... depends on your budget...

如果你budget唔係太緊,買部33/30 (視乎你要唔要眼控,但相差不大)
加支28-135 IS, 都有排你用,兩樣全新都係6000左右,但就已經有一支好鏡好一部好既機,基本上呢個range 幾好用架喇,到有錢先再買支好少少既wide 同tele,視乎你需要

i also don't thinkg Canon will like or need to change the EF mount, they already have the initial success in full-frame DSLR. the bottleneck should really be just the cost and quality of the sensor in my opinion.

Canon haven't change the EF mount even in the wave of APS (!), i don't think they will change it for the digital as well.

besides, may I ask had any brother / sister experienced blinking 'bc' error and shutter jam with your EOS body? I just experience this last night. the shutter cannot be released with some strange noise. Tried a couple time, its still the same. then changed a brand new battery, and the shutter can release again. However, I had open the back, and check the shutter speed, and found the shutter speed is very off. e.g. I had select a shutter speed of 1 sec in M mode, and i expect the 2nd shutter blind to close after 1 sec the first curton opened. But unexpectedly, it close nearly immediately, which make it very much like 1/125 sec.

Heard there are some oil leakage problem in very aged EOS bodies, may i ask had any brothers, sisters experience this or not? and do you think its repairable? Mine is an EOS RT (1989 model) bought for just a couple months used and had just shot 3 rolls of film jar. :(

This two lens has the same diameter and the filter can be share.
