I just bought an A70 and attened the Cannon course. The price for the adaptor ring $130, WC-DC52 (0.7x) $590, TC-DC52 (2.4x) $740... is it cheap and worth to buy?

Questions:
1. if I use the wide or tele, is it we cannot use the flash and must shut it. Somebody said that the built-in flash will block part of the lens. True??

2. TC-DC52... somebody comments that it's very hard to focus by using that tele, true?? I'm a new DC bie and am afraid that hard to use tele so thinking of whether really worth to buy. But I do want to use the tele to take close-up photos of my 6month baby... or just OK for using the portrait mode to take photos, and no need to buy TC-DC52

3. If convert to 135mm camera, what's the approx range of 0.7x wide and 2.4x tele... 28 to 135 ???
