Yes and no

yes = It doesn't bundled with a AC adpator which plug in the 7Hi AC directly

No = It does bundled with rechargable batteries and charger with adaptor....

I want to buy one more set of rechargable batteries for my new 7Hi. Can anybody tell me whether the bundled Sanyo charger is capable of charging 2100mAH NiMH batteries or not. Thanks.

7Hi 冇跟直插火牛但有跟4 x AA充電池 + 充電機. 我試過用原廠跟的charger (Sanyo) 充Panasonic 2000mAh 電沒有問題....

I m also newbie for D7x.....Happy shooting all new folks.... =)

忘了說原廠charger充電好慢, 建議多買一個charger跟4粒電.......有用家說過12粒電夠影足一日....我預夠16粒 (4 set)

Thanks daimonster. I also feel the original charger is quite slow. I will go to Ap Kee tomorrow to buy a quick charger and batteries.

As for the country of origin of 7Hi, I learnt from my friend that they are manufactured in Malaysia (please correct me if it is incorrect). However, I really don't think the manufacturing place is a big issue. My Sony TV and Nakamichi HiFi are also Malaysian products but I am satisfied with their performance.
