I am only a newbie. Perhaps you should go to a trusted shop that has 7 days return guarantee. If you are an IMS customer, it is only $1750.

上星期買, 呢部機都不錯, 又唔係太樣衰, 有A 同S MODE
短片都OK, 有聲同無限, 但最唔好就唔能夠邊影邊ZOOM

買o個時記住check個mon有冇死點, 我換左兩部都有......

I just bought it this Tuesday. I do think this is an valueable machine to compare it with other 4Mega camera. I had got an LS-443 before and I also tried the CX4330, Fuji Finepix 2700. and Sony. Although the DX6440 is not the best. But for this price range, we can only purchase the 3Mega Pixel but it's already have most of the function.
I do think it's focus time is short and accurate, and the LCD is really nice too, no matter you are indoor / Outdoor, it's still give you the nice review result.

The only complain is seem most of the people say this model's LCD too easy to have dead pixel.

I know the 6440 sell at H.K. Boardway is HK$2990. Bundle with 128mb SD card, Kodak Camera Bag. Extra Gift is one Tee Shirt. (If you buy with Mathatten Credit Card, there will be another Cap hat as gift too).

I heard the 6340 is around HK25XX. I forgot what's the gift it do include.

By the way, I would like to suggest all of the interesting party go to some big Shop (Fortress / Boardway / etc..). Since this machine is quite easy have Dead Pixel. You must check it carefully or raise up your request to exchange within 7 days. Just as me, I found it's got the dead pixel 2 days ago but I was having my trip & traveling inside China, today I went to Boardway and they checked then agree exchange for me, but since it's out of stock. They ask me come again tomorrow evening.

I hope this can give you some help during purchase it. By they way, I don't know if you are living inside China or not. If you prefer to use Chinese menu of the machine, Kodak is worth to buy since they got the Sim Chinese interface.
