I have bought a 7i about one month ago. While the shooting quality is in general satisfactory, I find that the camera is so easy to hang - "Err" appears in the display. Is it the usual problem of 7i ? Do I need to take the camera to Minolta for repair ?
Your urgent advice, please.

I also learn from the User Manual that the machine will shut down if the temperature is too high. However, in several occasion, the error occurred when I took the first photo after switching on the camera for only about three minutes. Is it normal particulary in hot summer?

我都係7i用家
出Err 係因機身就近入電位置過熱, 如果你部7i俾太陽o西左好耐, 就算你剛開機都好快會出Err. 息左個lcd 會大大減少部機overheat的情況, 日間用EVF拍照應該無問題, 又省電.

出Err不用擔心, 只是一個過熱指示, 我用左大半年都無問題.

I agree with you that I usually use my 7i under sunlight. I shall take your advice i.e. shut down the LCD and see if the problem would occur again. Thanks again for your advice.

my 7Hi has the same problem also ^^
i think this is a good design, if it doesn't trun it off automatically when it's too hot, the machine would get on fire lu :p
