I am going to Japan in Feb, and the weather would be cold and about -5 to -10 C. I just want to know what sort of things that I have to beware of.
My camera is a D70s. Please advise what I need to take care of.

I have used the Canon 10D in ski near Sapporo. It worked properly and the temperature was around -1 to -10. However, the battery would be used one or two time faster than normal. So, avoid letting the camera outside the camera bags when unused and bring along with you one set of standby battery.
