In fact ; there are no good method in case you take photo outside and go inside mall or room. The water will condense and mosit your camera. But if your camera is higher grade ; it is basically have water repellent properties. No worry. Not easy damage.

Only take a steady time on outside for photo ; decrease the frequency of out and in then the problem will be elimimate

加曖包增加鏡內溫度, 寒冷戶外一取機,立刻鏡內片有水氣. 內外温差大常識..!

i am just back from 東北-雪鄉,長白山 last week with my 5D MkII.

no problem with temperature down to -40C. the LCD may take ~1 sec to be up to full brightness. this happens at -30C or below. back to normal when temp is up.

no problem even when it's covered with snow. the plastic cover i bought is as brittle as biscuit. didn't use it at all. on the other hand, shower cap at the hotel is more usable.

if you plan to stick a warm pack to the camera, be aware of big temp difference between different parts of the camera.

one mis-conception, no condensation on camera/lens when going from warm to cold condition (from indoor to outdoor in cold place, opposite to the case when summer in hk). the camera/lens are warm relative to the environment. moisture only condense on cold object (not warm object)

Condensation occurs when u bring your camera FROM OUTdoor (cold) TO the INdoor (warm), as your camera is cold after exposed to outdoor low temperature.

去緊旅行就唔會理咁多, 由佢吧啦, 係隻手掂個鏡頭要小心, 因為你隻手對個冷冷的鏡頭係好熱的, 包起溊氣, 由室內到室外 其實雖然外部溫差大, 但鏡頭, 機內的溫差都差唔多的, 你擔心你會唔會因為鏡頭太凍而凍傷重好啦 :-P

電方面, 我用過400D, 500D, 唔知點解原廠電都可以好襟用,天氣凍 (-3 度) 影成個星期都只係少左格電
