Dear all ching,

I have one question.
How do you compare the Creamy of 50L and Gaussian Blur.........?
I know photoshop is photoshop....lens is lens, but I want to figure out how we classify blur and what is the behaviour among them?

H0001244 C Hing, you need to see a lot of photo coming out of different lens first, my way is to pin point to the 50mm glass and learn how the different they make, some is like circle form, some is like noise, and some is like melted, some is like spray, etc. The PS's gaussian blur I always use in tunning the film photos is like "pattern" form, but all of them is quiet a personal feeling.

My point of view is "PS can make it better but cannot creat it". i.e it can make a Creamy pic more creamy but It cannot creat a pretty creamy pic.

A poor pic is still a poor pic no matter what effect you added with PS.

So. first priority Lens - 50L!
