that's easy

if you looked at that tokina, I presume you are using a DX body.
The tokina 11-16mm f2.8 is lighter and smaller (I think) than the nikon, best of all, it's better. (note that the distortions from the tokina are easier to correct than that of the nikon 12-24mm F4)

The only thing to consider is that if you are using D40, D40x or D60, you need the nikon one for autofocus (and currently on the market, the sigma 10-20mm has motor inside)
