18-135mm 鏡片組 : 13 組 15 片， 設有 1 片 ED，2 片非球面鏡

18-105mm 鏡片組 : 11 組 15 片， 設有 1 片 ED 及 1 片非球面鏡片

不過 18-105 多左個冇用的 VR

I think the 18-135mm (which I used to have, came with my 2nd hand D40) is abit too expensive for what it is and what it can do.

VR is useful, expecially when you shoot indoor photos with flash, but want to capture more indoor light

Do a small experiment in in normal lighted indoor:

you can try with
(1) a VR or IS lens, M mode, flash, ISO 400-800, 1/6-1/10 sec. white balance (flash or auto)
(2) non VR/IS lens, any auto mode or M mode

see which one can give u SHARP photos with indoor atmosphere
(1) is far better
