when you mentioned S5, I think you meant the fujifilm S5 Pro

it's fantastic for skin tone and colours; for 人像 is probably better on colours than D300 (lets put the D700 out of the way as it's FX and the budget range is different)

other than that, the S5P is very slow comparing to D300.
although if you 主要影緍禮同人像, those subjects are more than likely static most of the time, maybe speed is not that important to your needs.

to me, the d300 is more user friendly and flexible than the S5P.

in fact, if you are returning to the States, get you stuff over there.

you get your US nikon warranty and I think you can still get those tax rebate right??? (I'm not too sure on the rebate part...)

if the prices arent that much of a difference, the nikon warranty should worth that extra bit of money over the next few years...

今日終於將D700帶回家，成功地出售D200連同幾支DX鏡，現在只有17-35mm f2.8及舊有的Sigma120-300mm f2.8AF鏡，還欠中段的鏡頭，或先買一支微距鏡，要待差滿電池，相信明天才能正式出外試影，在家裡用ISO1600隨便拍了幾張相，noise控制得比D200好上一大截，很開心呢，有種小朋友等秋季族行的心情。
