我部D300多數用來影室內event，例如會議，酒會，商務晚宴等等。
試過借來 17-55 f/2.8, 70-200 f/2.8 及其他Nikon 大光圈zoom 鏡，也用過 18-200 效果都不錯。現有問題請教 ：
1) 以拍室內event為例， 2.8 光圈貴價鏡是否一定比 18-200 天涯鏡好得多 ？2) 有無一些實質數據可以side by side 比較，得出 f/2.8 一類貴鏡比天涯鏡優良
3) 其實各位C-Hing經驗，影event用甚麼鏡最佳效果 ？(如果不考慮價錢)

因為我老頂要我做一個proposal，看能否用今年"筆直"批錢買鏡。天涯鏡比其他2.8 光圈貴價鏡平一半有多，符合現時經濟環境，但我怕將貨就價的話，日後唔夠用時，就更無可能再買一支好鏡。

室內要大光圈好D, 可以減低主體動作所做成的不清晰影像, 也可使背景冇咁黑, FLASH也可遠D!

我就支支都帶，用起上尼真係無一支可以代替到，我最近都中焦，以為光圏大同iso高可以解決到，都都係要用vr先至得，但大光圏效果又出眾一點

我就會出18-200 vr 同 17-50 f2.8 同 50 f1.8 同 85 1.8 四支

Surely this kind of environment, 光圏 as large as possible la, it can give you more "choice" to take your picture. And surely the quality is very much different. On top of all these, one point which is important to event photos, is the depth of view. bigger the 光圏, sharrower the depth of view, which means you can "out-focus" anythting behine your object. In event photography, there's a lot of chances that other people will be very close to your subject but you actually don't want them, so, on top of bigger 光圏 can give you a faster shutter speed, it can give your event photo more stand-out as well.

Last but not least, its a company lens. To a company, a few more K is nothing la, get a better one and the company will payoff.

In your proposal, don't forget to put down the publication is an image of the company, so, if you take the image cost of your company into your "Benefit" session, a few K... nothing la.

唔怕失禮講句，以上小弟提及曾經用過的鏡， 都係向各方友好借來的，從來未擁有過。
只不過用完18-200 VR 後，覺得幾方便，又唔貴，唔知加強iso後，能否補償光圈細的缺點。
我其實想請教：如果從鏡頭的質素和結構方面考慮，是否所有NIKON大光圈的鏡頭，是否必定比18-200VR 好？
會唔會有測試報告可以參考，寫PROPOSAL ？
影EVENT (不是婚宴)，包括會議大場面，講者演說，頒獎儀式的話，如果只能買一支NIKON鏡的話，應買邊支 ？

There's lots of technical report in the web or other photo magazines, but it won't help you on your report. The key is what are you going to use these photos for and how are you going to output them. High ISO's problem will have you more noise and it won't compensate the depeth of view that I mention before. But if you only want to use them as a web page or a small tiny photo in the company newspaper/magazine, 1 signle lens is good enough or even DC may do. But if you need to output the photo as a company magazine cover or full page photo, you need to consider better one. How much better, technical lens report won't help you to justify, e.g. the repot tells you how much deformation will the lens coner do vs various different lens, it doesn't mean anything to your boss. (assume you boss don't know anything about photography) What you can do is, get a friend stand on a stage or ballroom, use different lenses, shot a few photos and see whether there's any different you and the audience notice, then, justify base on the result. That's something that your boss can understand and to the point.

絕對贊同wallacefong兄的講法，如果係個人選購，一定係現場測試，事實亦試過幾支鏡，心中有數。只不過在官僚架構下，要出公數買好野，而各級老頂又唔想背黑鍋的話，用所謂科學數據做proposal，就似乎係唯一可接受的方法，大家都好辦事。現場測試的照片，再打印出來，外行人主觀地看，有時都未必可以找出好大的分別，即如有人覺得坐civic 同accord都分別不大，唉，作為前線落手落腳的小弟，當然希望可以有支得心應手的鏡王來做野啦。
其實我都好喜歡24-70呢支鏡，但$$$$

其實多位師兄都說用18-200, 真的是一個好選擇, Because 佢有VR , range 大.
室內有時場地有限,做野無多餘時間轉鏡 又得一步機.Good choice!!

香港地室內event比較難D,因為唔俾周圍行攞景,外國唔同,因為攝影師大晒!!

D300用24-70, 拍大合照不夠wide都幾麻煩! 我會選17-55, 另外18-200,拍室內event時, 遠距細光圈配合閃光燈需較高技巧!
