anybody can tell me that nikon d40 can use fixed focus lens,such as nikon 50mm 1.5,thanks.

D40 可以用定焦鏡的 不過Nikon原廠的定焦鏡全部是AF鏡
即用於D40 D40x D60上 會沒有自動對焦功能 但仍有測光功能
不過你仍然可以利用ViewFinder左下角的合焦顯示燈來手動對焦

50mm 就無 af-s/af-i 版本。
另﹐好多 nikon 定焦都有 afs/afi o架

小弟都用緊d40,都想買支35定無玩,但都係問題多多....
想問問上面師兄(Marcomonkey)講既----------->不過你仍然可以利用ViewFinder左下角的合焦顯示燈來手動對焦,係點解呀?

是的, 是可以利用ViewFinder 左下角的綠色合焦顯示燈來手動對焦的, 當合焦時, 綠色合焦顯示燈亮, 未合焦時, 綠色合焦顯示燈不亮或閃閃下 ....

to the original question
D40 can use most of the nikkor ever been made, or all most all of them if they are made after 1970.
I still use my nikkor 50mm F1.4 prime (I dun think there's a F1.5, I think you meant 1.4) on my D40, but since it's an ai manual (not even ais), it wont meter with the D40 and you'll have to guess, just take a few shots and you'll know.
With the 1.5 factor, this 50mm is effectively about 75mm F1.4
