Yes, it works. But beware of the battery quality. My mate been using GP non-rechargable batteries. And the shutter keep jamming when taking photo, error message occur. He thought is camera problem,then i tried the same 8 x GP batteries which out from his camera on my mine D700. Same thing happen.
Then we went to buy Enelop rechargable batteries, smooth and perfect. So 8 x batteries are fine for 8fps.
