I have the non-AF Micro-Nikkor 105 2.8 for nearly 15 years and seldomly use it until last sunday I took some photos with it on m D300. The results were pleasing. It still has a very powerful resolution ability and a nice colour rendition. I have no chance to compare the results with the new VR 105 and I always want to trade it off for the new VR 105.

Is there any C-hing has compared both lenses.
