But seriously, it is just like the dark room work in a digital age.

Looking at every award winning photographs. Every single of them have some level of post editing done.

But still, it is very important to get the element right at the beginning, and then use the post editing to enhance the effect.

我冇後製。不是反對，而是想把多些時間放在攝影上。

但個人覺得可從後製中學到當時拍照的問題（例如構圖，用光），當下次遇到差不多情況時可以把握得更好！

of course I understand that. Adobe products is my trusted business partner for years.

You know what, when I met with those Adobe rep this year. They are really putting lots of hearts and effect into producing LR.

Hope more people are paying for their products rather than downloading it off somewhere on the web. Although they are not cheap >.<

Coz paying them is the only way to support a business with heart to produce us a powerful software in the future.

Can't resist to upload more B&W photos. Taken earlier this year in my HK trip. heheheee, of course processed by LR as well.

你如果想前後都咁清晰多細節你可以影HDR，或留意光測位.

Unfortunately you get things wrong this time.

- I did't do any burning on the building, not even mention 救唔返就唔夾硬burn 深佢 =p
- that's the shadow of the clouds
- I do applied the Highlight Priority Vignetting

It is just a quick 20 sec adjustment with the tonal curve adjustment with LR3. So no Dodge & Burn or whatsoever applied =D Just to quickly show how powerful the LR3 is.


About HDR, I appreciate the technology and development. But I am not a big fan of any surreal HDR photos. Hehehee, maybe that prove me to be the older generation.

It is a line between a photography and a creative art work. I am on the photography side. No right or wrong with art =D

Also my clients also buy me into my "photography" side of thing.

Just love to give positive comment here to encourage bro to keep making and improving together =D any photographers are not willing to listening is the first step of out of the game.

There is a leading designer in HK, when everyone are moving onto Mac and design with computer, that designer still prefer to stick with drawing. Quite a few people witnessing that designer fade away with time as he did not listen. What a pity.

There is some colour fringing on your fish eye. Is that because of the resolution problem? ringomov bro, do you know the LR3 can fix this up now?

There are lots of new function in the LR3 and which is lovely and a huge improvement comparing with LR2.

You see what I mean? Sometimes a new program is good, but take a bit of time to explore and to refine it to perfect.

張魚眼係用 G 10 加外置鏡頭質素和解像力有限，出現紫邊是無可被免，LR
是有去除紫邊功能，但係我覺得保留都OK 對張相影響不大.....反正張相本身
解像力並不高，我咁影法都係想玩 feel 和構圖.

其實每位愛浩藝術的工作大部都較為自我及偏激，人人有佢自己的一套看法，
包括我在內.....吸收別人意見從中揀D自己應為正確既東西然後再去發展自己.

LR 3比LR 2 在 新 Mac OS 10.6 64 bit 環境快接近一倍.

Hey Ringomov bro, just wondering if the exporting in your LR3 is fast or slow?

I realise a problem with mine, all functions are good and fast, but when I start using the brush function to "paint light" with my product shoots, the exporting become very slow ....

Is that just mine computer? Coz I am on the latest MBP .... shouldn't be this slow ....

唔係 wor ! exporting file 比以前快好多好多.......包括 PSD , 16 bit images

電腦當然唔可以太舊及慢， hard diak 要 7200 轉以上，Ram 要 6G 先行得順，
如果你玩相吾多的話少D都得.

我用 Mac Pro + Wacom .

係 LR 裡行 paint brush 係會慢少少 要適應.

I am using Wacom as well ...

all functions in LR3 are faster than LR2 except the paint brush ...

Especially after heavily edited one single photos with the brush ... exporting is really slow >.< It is significantly slowing down the processing ...

Need to add more ram in my computer on my next HK trip. So much cheaper to buy in HK.
